Earth Energy is a subsidiary of Grushie Energy Private Limited. Earth Energy has launched Glyde Plus electric scooter. It has also launched Evolve Z and Evolve R electric bikes. Grushie Energy was incorporated on 20 September 2018. It manufactures parts and accessories for motor vehicles and their engines. The production facility of Earth Energy is in Palghar, Maharashtra.

• The top speed of Glyde Plus is 60 Km per hour. Its range is 100 Km on a fully charged battery. However, the range depends on various other factors like the load on the scooter, speed, road condition, driving style, etc. So the actual range will be lower than 100 Km. It will be somewhere near 80 Km. Even the 80 Km range is good.
• Glyde Plus has a 5 KW electric motor. The motor of most electric scooters is coupled directly on the rear wheel. But this is not the case with Glyde Plus. The electric motor is connected with the rear wheel with an Auto Grade Belt Transmission.

• The electric motor produces a torque of 26 Nm. This is sufficient for urban use.
• A regenerative braking feature is available. It is a useful feature.
• The motor is IP67 rated. It means that it is waterproof and dustproof.
• The Controller is a reinforced dual channel type. It has self-diagnostic capabilities.
• The battery pack is Lithium-Ion type. Earth Energy has tested a large number of battery cells produced by various manufacturers. Performance, Cost, and Reliability have been evaluated before making the final selection. The manufacturer has tried to balance quality & performance with price.
• Advanced Battery Management System controls the battery temperature range under operating conditions. It protects the battery from overheating.

• Inbuilt Smart System for live battery SoC Display and Theft Protection.
• The battery can be charged at all EV Charging Stations. It has a secure handshaking protocol as per international standards (J1772). This is a very useful feature.
• The battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes. A full charge takes around 2.5 hours. This is quite good.
• The instrument cluster is fully digital type.
• It has smartphone connectivity with a mobile app-enabled system.
• Earth Energy Glyde Plus has 3 Speed Modes for Efficiency, Comfort, and Agility. The range is maximum in Efficiency Mode. Speed is highest in Agility Mode
• The Instrument Panel has Range Prediction Display. It tells you how many kilometers you can travel on the remaining battery charge. This feature prevents you from getting stranded due to a discharged battery. Very useful feature.
• Advanced Telematics System has been provided. It monitors the health and performance of the electric scooter. 14 critical data points are examined continuously. Based on these data points the Smart System determines the safe operating conditions of the Glyde Plus electric scooter.
