Revolt RV400 is the first AI-enabled electric bike in India. Its performance can be compared with 125 CC petrol engine motorcycle. Revolt RV400 has been manufactured by Revolt Motors in its Manesar plant in Haryana. The company claims that its electric bikes have run more than 50 Lakh kilometers on Indian roads. Revolt RV400 was launched in August 2019. The Revolt RV 400 is the first electric bike to go on sale in India.

The battery of Revolt RV400

• The electric bike is powered by a lithium-ion battery. The battery pack is 72 Volts and delivers 3.24 kWh of energy.
• The battery can be charged from 0 to 100% capacity in just 4.5 hours. A 15-ampere plug and socket is required to charge the battery. It is commonly available in every house.
• Before you take the battery out for charging, put the MCB at OFF position.
• Put the MCB in OFF position before washing and cleaning the bike.
• Put the MCB in the OFF position if you do not intend to use the bike for some time.
• In an emergency, you can swap your battery with a fully charged battery at the nearest Revolt Swap Station. This facility reduces the downtime of your RV400 electric bike.
• Sometimes the current may increase beyond the set range due to an abnormal situation or short circuit. In such cases, the MCB will trip automatically and will disconnect the current flow between the battery and the motorcycle’s wiring system.

How to charge the battery

• Connect the charger to the bike charging port
• Connect the charger to a 15-ampere power supply socket
• A red light will glow during normal charging
• When the battery is fully charged, the green light will glow
• If there is an error, the red and green light will blink alternately
