Tata Tigor EV – Best Tata Electric Car
Tata Tigor EV is a popular Tata electric car. Tata Tigor electric cars come in three variants. It comes in two colors, namely Egyptian Blue and Pearlescent White. These electric car variants are:-
- Tigor XE+
- Tigor XM+
- Tigor XT+
The Tata Tigor EV is powered by a 21.5 kWh battery pack. The battery pack is cooled by a liquid cooling system. There are two charging ports. One port is for fast charging. The second port is for slow AC charging. The electric motor of Tigor EV produces 40 BHP of power and 105 Nm of torque. All three variants come equipped with ABS and dual airbags (driver airbag only for XE trim) as standard features. The standard warranty for this Tata electric car stands at three years or 1, 25, 000 Kms.
Tata electric cars are stylized for the future. Tata Tigor EV first came into the market in 2017. These electric cars were first made available to car rental services and government officials. Priority was given to fleet operators also. Around 10, 000 Tata Tigor electric vehicles were supplied to the government. Tata Motors had quoted a price of Rs 10.16 Lakh per car and had won the tender.
Tata Motors started selling Tata Tigor electric cars to private buyers in 2019.

Tata Tigor EV price starts at Rs 9.58 Lakh (Ex-Showroom in Delhi). Tata Tigor EV ex show-room price in India varies from Rs 9.58 Lakh to Rs 9.86 Lakh, depending upon its variant.
Contact your nearest Tata Motor Dealer for the exact price. Ex-showroom price does not include the price of the accessory kit like front grille inserts and wheel covers etc. These will cost extra.
To promote eco-friendly vehicles Government of India has launched FAME India Scheme. Under FAME India Scheme Phase-II GOI provides an incentive of Rs 2, 15, 000. As per the Gazette Notification for FAME India Scheme Phase-II eligible incentive is only applicable mainly to four-wheeler vehicles used for Public Transport or those registered for commercial purposes.

Tata Tigor is already available in the petrol variant. So does it make sense to buy this Tata electric car? Exterior of Tigor Electric Car
The exterior features of this Tata electric car are the same as the petrol version of the Tata Tigor. The design elements are the same. The electric car has an EV badge and stickers. But the main features are still based on the petrol version of Tigor. It is not an entirely new design.
Variants of Tigor Electric Car
Tata Tigor EV comes in three variants. These are Tigor XE+, Tigor XM+, and Tigor XT+. However, the petrol Tigor has one more version XZ+ Trim. So this Tata electric car misses out on some of the good features of the XZ+ trim variant. These missed out features are 2-DIN audio systems with Bluetooth, iPod, and AUX connectivity.
