- The Dexpress Mettle is a No Frills electric cargo scooter.
- The manufacturer provides a Mobile App which is very useful. Its Battery Scanner is a very useful feature. You can see the quality, size, and performance of the scooter battery. You can calculate and adjust your range. For example, ride the electric scooter for 10 Km with your load. Then check the drop in percentage charge of the battery. This way you can calculate the total range with that load.
- You can check the state of charge (SOC) and discharge of the battery while you are driving this cargo scooter.
- You can also count the cycles the battery has charged. Battery life is 1000 to 1500 cycles of charge. This is on the lower side.
- As per the manufacturer, the battery will need replacement if its capacity falls below 70%. The battery warranty does not cover full replacement in case of battery capacity falls below 70%. The defective battery will be replaced with a new battery. But you will have to pay the cost of the utilized period on a pro-rata basis.
- The manufacturer has given a caution that the electric scooter should not be parked in water above the level shown in the picture. If you do so, water may enter the battery or the electric motor. In such a case, the warranty will be void.
- You should not wash the scooter with a water jet. The battery should be removed before washing Dexpress Mettle Manufacturer also cautions that you should not charge the battery with any other charger.
