Bajaj RE Electric Auto Rickshaw will be launched during the first half of 2022, by Bajaj Auto. It is expected that it will be launched first in Pune and Bangalore. It looks the same as the petrol version which is famous Bajaj RE. Bajaj RE Electric Auto will look more stylish with a digital instrument cluster. This electric auto is being manufactured in Akurdi, Pune plant of Bajaj Auto Ltd. It is one of the best electric auto-rickshaws in India.
Bajaj RE Electric Auto Rickshaw has a 48 V swappable lithium-ion battery pack. The battery has an active cooling system to prevent overheating. The onboard charger capacity is 1.2 kW. An onboard charger is optional. It will be powered by a 4.3 kW Bosch electric motor.
The On-Board Charging Time of the battery pack is 6 hours. Battery swapping time is only 6 minutes.
