Kabira KM 4000 Review
Speed
- KM 4000 does not accelerate quickly. Claimed speed is 120 Km per hour. But after a speed of around 85 Km per hour, it does not pick up that quickly and requires more road space.
Electric Motor
- It has high torque BLDC motor from DeltaEV. It has the highest stable quality and gives consistent performance. The electric motor is energy efficient and reliable.
- The electric motor produces a peak power of 8000 Watts. This is quite a good number.
- The motor is IP67 certified. It is water-resistant. So you can drive the bike in all weather and terrain conditions.
- The electric motor of the KM 4000 electric bike has a dual sensor and temperature sensor. This increases the life of the motor.
Instrument Panel
- KM 4000 has a smart digital dashboard
- It has 450 Nits of brightness. So the instrument panel is quite bright even during the daytime. The rider has no difficulty in seeing various readings.
- It has a keyless start feature. You can start the electric bike at the touch of a button.
Battery Charging
- KM 4000 has an inbuilt battery charging system.
- In ECO Charge Mode the battery pack gets fully charged from 0 to 100% in 6 hours and 30 minutes. The battery charging time could have been lowered.
- The battery pack is fixed and can’t be removed for charging. In situ charging has to be done.
- In Boost Charge Mode the battery pack can be charged in 2 hours.
- You get a Type 2 Universal Charger with the bike. You can charge the battery anywhere using this charger.
Brake System
- Both front and rear brakes are single disc type. This is a drawback. We expect at least the front brake to be double disc type. It lacks stopping power at high speed.
- There are no sensors in the brake system to prevent the locking of brakes. Kabira Motors should modify the brake system as per Komaki SE Electric Scooter
Seats
- The pillion rider seat is very small and is not comfortable for a long ride.
Body and Look
- Kabira Mobility KM 4000 electric bike has a bare minimum design. It does not look as attractive as KM 3000 electric bike.
Ride Quality
- Cross country ride on broken surfaces is rather bumpy and stiff. The suspension system does not absorb the shocks that smoothly.
- The bike ride quality is OK, but nothing special to mention about.
Build Quality
- The plastic fiber panels and the build quality need improvement.
Our Conclusion about KM 4000
The technical Team of EV Funda is of the opinion that lots of improvement are required to be done on Kabira Mobility KM 4000 electric bike.
